The information on the implementation in Uzbekistan of the fifth phase of the World Programme for Human Rights Education has been recognized as an official document of the 62nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. The information has been widely circulated in the official languages of the United Nations.
As noted in the information, on 3 March 2026 the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures for the implementation of the fifth phase of the World Programme for Human Rights Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The resolution approved a “road map” for the implementation of the fifth phase of the World Programme for Human Rights Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the composition of the National Commission. The National Commission has been entrusted with preparing information and analytical reviews of the results achieved in the field of human rights, arranging for their translation into foreign languages and ensuring their publication.
In this regard, the recognition and circulation of Uzbekistan’s information on human rights education as an official UN document will undoubtedly make it possible to inform the international community more widely about the practical work carried out in our country within the framework of the fifth phase of the World Programme for Human Rights Education.
