The Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan, the International Confederation of Consumer Societies (CONFOP), and the “Yuksalish” National Movement hold on January 15-18, 2020 the First European and Asian countries forum on consumer protection in Tashkent and Samarkand.

The Forum discusses topics such as “Consumer Protection in Tourism”, “Consumer Protection in E-Commerce and Digital Goods”, and “Sustainable Consumer Culture”.

The Chairperson of the Advisory Council on the Development of Civil Society under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director of the National Center for Human Rights Akmal Saidov delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Forum, as well as Prof.A.Saidov noted the importance and relevance of the discussed issues of the Forum.

This Forum is the first step to a new level of consumer protection in our country!
