Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 22, 2020 “On approval of the National Human Rights Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan” provides for the adoption of a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan On the badge “Inson huquqlari himoyasi uchun” (For the Protection of Human Rights).

“For Human Rights Protection” badge is established with the aim of encouraging citizens and organizations that have made a great contribution to protecting human rights and freedoms, to popularize the activities of citizens to protect human rights, which can serve as a model, to disseminate their experience.

The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan On the badge “Inson huquqlari himoyasi uchun” consists of 5 clauses, 3 appendices, which provide for the approval of the provision on the badge and the description of the badge and its certificate. The draft resolution defines the procedure and deadlines for the submission and consideration of documents for the award, the announcement of the awarded, the order of the commission for the award, as well as a description of the badge.
