The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) sign arrangements for 3 new projects with a total budget of $20.44 mln for implementation during 2023 - 2028

On June 1, 2023, the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) held a signing ceremony for three new KOICA grant-aid projects in the public administration and climate change sector. The event was held on the occasion of the official visit to Uzbekistan of HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Jin Park and was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aloyev Bakhromjon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Hee-sang Kim, Country Director of KOICA Office in Uzbekistan Sunjin Park, and other high-level officials.

The arrangements were signed by the representatives of the implementing organizations - the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Akmal Saidov, First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan Obidjon Qudratov, Director of the Agency of Plant Protection and Quarantine Ibrokhim Ergashev and Country Director of KOICA Office in Uzbekistan Sunjin Park.
