"International cooperation for sustainable development: "UN and Uzbekistan" Republican Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Researchers

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the accession of the Republic
of Uzbekistan to the UN, the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights hosted an online and offline scientific-practical conference on the topic “International cooperation for sustainable development: the UN and Uzbekistan”.

The conference was attended by employees and scientific researchers of the Academy of the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Higher School of Judges, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the University of Public Security, the Institute of State and Law, the Tashkent State Law University, the Specialized Branch of the Tashkent State Law University, Westminster International University in Tashkent, the Center for Advanced Training of Lawyers under Ministry of Justice, Andijan State University, Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, Namangan State University, Samarkand State University and Termez State University.

This conference began with opening speeches by the First Deputy Director of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights M. Tillabaev and Deputy Head of the Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office Muzaffarjon Mamasiddikov.

The conference participants made presentations on topical issues and exchanged views on the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan on the basis of bilateral cooperation since the day it joined the UN. The participants spoke in Uzbek, Karakalpak, English and Russian.

At the same time, it is planned to publish materials of the republican scientific-practical conference in the form of a digest.

At the end of the scientific-practical conference were discussed proposals and recommendations on the topic.
